    With over fifteen years of experience as a librarian and classroom teacher, Ed has taught high school English, university undergraduate courses in composition and literature, graduate courses in children's and young adult literature, and workshops on creative writing for children, teens, and adults. As a librarian, Ed has worked with all age groups. Ed has conducted dozens of workshops for librarians, parents, and teachers on a wide range of topics, including booktalking; collection development; how to be a reading role model; library programming and services for teens; marketing library collections; reaching reluctant readers; public library and school collaboration; and using children's and young adult literature across the curriculum.
